STS-79   9/96

STS-79 mission specialist Carl Walz straps down a stowed Russian Orlan space suit in the Spacehab module. The suit is to be returned to the manufacturer for repairs and then to the Johnson Space Center for use in training. This is the first time the Russians have been able to return one of their space suits to Earth for repair.
