JSC2009-E-156646 (28 Aug. 2009) --- An overall view of the space shuttle flight control room in the Mission Control Center at NASA's Johnson Space Center during launch countdown activities a few hundred miles away in Florida, site of Space Shuttle Discovery's STS-128 launch. In the foreground are flight directors Tony Ceccacci (left) and Richard Jones. Jones is the assigned flight director for the both the ascent and entry shifts of Discovery's mission.
