JSC2008-E-025189 (11 March 2008) --- Astronaut Jim Dutton, spacecraft communicator (CAPCOM), monitors data at his console in the space shuttle flight control room of Johnson Space Center's Mission Control Center (MCC) during launch countdown activities a few hundred miles away in Florida, site of Space Shuttle Endeavour's scheduled STS-123 launch. Liftoff occurred at 2:28 a.m. (EDT) on March 11, 2008 from launch pad 39A at Kennedy Space Center.
